Make Believe

note

Keep your eye on the BIG PICTURE when teaching.

If the learner does not know her/his actual beliefs, forget it! Every motivation will be directed down a crooked path. For example, wishing for success means one thing to you - but a very different thing to someone else. If you are working on some lesson in life that deals with finding your true love and someone else is finding a job - you have very different motivations and beliefs at work. A teacher - and remember that we are all our own teachers - feeds into each learner's beliefs. A real teacher gives what is needed NOW - according to a learner's current lesson.

I know that this means adapting to a changing picture. Once any lesson is learned, a new one appears. And with it, a set of beliefs. The key is awareness. Keep your eyes open. Stay aware of the lesson today and you will see how your belief system shifts to help you.

Remember the best learner is one who is one's own teacher.

Belief
Our beliefs shape us. We all have beliefs. Are mine the same as yours? Go to this website to find a working definition of
Belief.

The Scientific Method
When you want to check on whether something (like your belief) is true, you test it out. This is the Scientific Method. You observe something, hypothesize whether your guess is true or not, then predict what will happen next. Your final test of whether or not you were right is to see if your prediction happens repeatedly.

Observations & Experiments
Your observations and experiments are the way you become aware of your beliefs. The way people have experimented has changed over the last two thousand years. It is important that we note this, because we live in a time where the ability to change our world through large numbers of persons aligning their beliefs is quickly becoming a reality. Read this next section on the past, present, and future role of experimentation.

Being
We are human beings. We think that's a noun, but we're only half right. We are actually humans - which is a noun - who are being (this is a verb). To be means to exist. And this means living in time and space - but it also means living outside of time and space. The way to see outside of timespace is to be intuitive. An intuitive being can sense things beyond the 5 senses. It can use a kind of knowing that reaches into one's heart for a confirmaion of truth.

This new, intuitive, way of knowing that reaches outside of 3 dimensional spacetime changes how we must design experiments. Now we must use our human ability to see with our intuition during an experiment.

And therefore our Experiments must meet our Beliefs. This is now an alternate way of understanding Quantum Physics.
